What this site records
Anonymous answers from our three planning tools, and nothing about who you are.
The maturity assessment, the ROI calculator and the TCO calculator run in your browser. When you use them, we record the values you choose and the results the page calculates, so we can learn where evidence operations are strongest and weakest and improve the tools. That is the only data this site collects.
What we record
- Which tool you opened, and whether you arrived from another tool.
- The scores, figures and options you set in the tool, and the results it calculated.
- Whether you downloaded the PDF, emailed the model to yourself, reset the tool or moved on to the next one.
- A random session token, held only in your browser tab, so events from the same visit can be linked. It disappears when you close the tab.
What we don't record
- No names, email addresses or organization names. The tools never ask for them.
- No cookies, and nothing that identifies your browser across visits.
- No IP addresses, browser details or the page you came from.
- No analytics or advertising services. Everything is stored on our own web server, and nothing is shared with third parties.
The contact form and email buttons
The contact form and the "Email me this model" buttons don't send anything to us. They compose a message in your own email program, and nothing reaches us unless you send it. When you do, we use your email only to reply to you.
Opting out
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the tools record nothing. They still work exactly the same way.
